How does Blue Zone Work?

Blue Zone Mobile Media (BZMM) uses Bluetooth technology to deliver rich content to the handsets of your consumers. Bluetooth technology allows mobile devices, PDA's, computers and cell phones to connect wirelessly while transmitting both data and voice through short-range transmission.  Bluetooth wireless technology eliminates the need for cables connecting both portable and fixed devices while maintaining high levels of security. It’s robust and uses very little power. Bluetooth technology creates a global standard for a rapidly expanding list of devices to connect and communicate.

We use all that tech heavy stuff mentioned above to deliver your brand or message through a series of media servers. Our servers scan a radius of roughly 300ft to search for compatible and enabled Bluetooth equipped devices.  Once detected, our media servers request permission to connect to your device.  If permission is rejected, data is not transmitted to your device.  If you opt-in or accept the connection, you’ve just shaken hands with our server and have now entered the Blue Zone.  We are now able to send you a wide array of rich content such as text, images, mobile coupons, audio, video and more.  We work hand in hand with our brands and advertisers to ensure an overwhelmingly pleasant experience for consumers.
